Yesterday I brought you a guest post from this fab YA author And today you have the chance to win one of 3 copies of the book for yourself. (UK only-sorry!) That's right I have THREE copies to giveaway. Here's what you can expect from the novel...
John Creed's nights are haunted by dreams of a white wolf, his days by the hideous class bully. He's a loner with a stutter and his home-life - with an eccentric grandfather who wants to teach him folklore and ancient languages - is isolated and unusual.
But then John makes a friend - Fyre. She's as unusual as John and has her own secrets to keep, but as the truth about John's past starts to emerge, she's the best ally he's got . . .
To be in with a chance of winning a copy, simply leave me a comment below telling me which fairytale you'd most like to twist and how and I'll announce the winners on Saturday! Remember you need to live in the UK to enter this giveaway-good luck!
that book sounds good so thank you for the chance to win a copy. I'd put a twist on Snow White, i reckon the dwarves could reek some serious havoc. Or Snow White herself could turn out to be worse than the wicked witch.

Hey this sounds amazing! I haven't read many fairy stories like this before. I think I would twist Sleeping Beauty. I think I would make it so although Sleeping beauty is asleep, while she is asleep she is in a different world if that makes sense ha ha!
ReplyDeleteLove the sound of this book!
ReplyDeleteFor me, I'd have to twist my favourite one Beauty and The Beast! I'd love for Belle to be the big hairy one and for the Beast to be the lovely prince. (But, I would make sure Belle still had her library!!)
Sleeping Beauty... a clever ploy getting everyone else put to sleep so she could catch up with her tbr pile!
ReplyDeleteI love fairy retellings, so this is definitely on my TBR pile. My twist would be on Cinderella. Where it turns out that Prince Charming is the baddie, and Cinderella is actually being protected by her stepmother and stepsisters.
