Letterbox Love #12

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Siren's In My Mailbox. This post is a means by which to highlight the books we get in the post and beyond, and especially to bring attention to those books which may be sat on our shelves for a little while yet that we love all the same.

It's the summer holidays so that means more book buying! I've also been blessed with some FABULOUS books from publishers so I thought I'd do a quick book haul to show you all the lovely books!

I went to my favourite branch of waterstones in Glasgow this week & it just seemed rude to come out without anything so I didn't!

I got a fab signed special edition of Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell...

AND a matching tote for freeeee!

I also got the latest in the Darcy Burdock series Sorry About Me by Laura Dockrill-can't wait to settle down and read this one-definitely something for these holidays!

I also hit the bargain section of WHSMITH and got a Lucy Diamond novel and The Hive by Gill Hornby for a bargainous 50p!

I was lucky enough to receive some fab book post as well. I got a copy of The Postcard by Leah Flemming and Of Things Gone Astray by Janina Mathewson-I'm on the blog tour for both of these so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into these!

From the Lovely Folk at Simon & Schuster I got The Way You Look Tonight by Richard Madeley which I just finished-very unexpected!

So then because I'd been sent this one for review, I felt I really ought to read his first novel, Some Day I'll find you which I picked up at the fabulous Barter Books up in Alnwick.

Whilst I was there I also picked up a copy of Vince and Joy by Lisa Jewell as this is the one book by this author that I don't actually own. I feel. Lisa Jewell marathon coming on...

Now I know that I have a parcel at home waiting for me which may contain a book or two so there is a very strong chance that I will be posting a book haul next week too. Until then, I'll be with all these gorgeous lovely books!
