So this readathon really was a success for me, I had so much fun doing it. Although I've done bout of books before, I haven't taken part in the challenges before and I haven't participated in any of the twitter chats either, but this time I did, so that was fun!
I posted my challenges on Twitter/Instagram. I didn't do all of them but I used #boutofbooks so you can check back and see what I did on there...
The First book I finished was the audiobook of Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. This was 260 pages.
I also finished both of the Starlight Diner Series books that are out so far. I'm part of the blog tour for this this weekend so look out for my review of those on Friday/Saturday. Milkshakes and Heartbreaks at the Starlight Diner was 243 pages and Secrets and Fries at the Starlight Diner was 270 pages.
The second audiobook that I finished was Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. I'd been wanting to read this one for a long time and so I downloaded it from Overdrive via my library! This was 359 pages.
And the final audiobook I finished has also been on my wishlist for a while now (that's one of the great things about a readathon isn't it?) and that was Mad Girl by Bryony Gordon. I knew I wanted to read this one after reading The Wrong knickers a couple of summers ago. Look out for the review of this one coming soon! This was 320 pages.
And finally, I really wanted to finish the last 5 short stories in the Meet Cute series by Katey Lovell, but I only managed to fit in 3 of them. They are 20 pages each, so account for 60 pages of reading altogether.
So in total I read 1512 pages (yes I just added it all up in my head!) which I'm pretty proud of because I did manage to do other things this week as well! I am also proud of the fact that I read 5 whole books in a week. I'm really pumped to read some more YA and throw in a few more celebrity memoirs in there, they make for great listening and I've already been to the library to get my next fix!
Thanks again to Bout of Books for hosting this readathon. You can find their site here. And if you fancy grabbing any of these books for yourself, just click on the picture!
